Delicious and Healthy Chilli


This cooler weather makes me want to snuggle in my sweater, pull on my slippers and enjoy a warm bowl of homemade chilli. This recipe is delicious and totally guilt free!  Your family and friends will never guess this chilli is actually made with turkey!  The best part of this recipe is that it is EASY! 


2 Cans whole tomatoes

5 Cloves minced garlic

1 Large red onion, chopped

1 Pound ground turkey

1 Small can tomato paste

1 Can kidney beans

1 Can chick peas

* 1TBSP Dry mustard

* 1 TBSP Tabasco

*1/3 Cup Apple butter

*1/4 Cup apple cider vinegar

* 1 TBSP chilli powder (Instead of all “*” ingredients, you can just use Epicure chilli seasoning- that’s what I like to do!) 


Cook turkey in a frying pan.  Combine cooked turkey and all other ingredients in a large pot and cook on stove top over medium heat for 2 hours.  Stir occasionally.
